Rebecca and Edward’s Williams Inn wedding in Williamstown, Massachusetts was the perfect way to welcome the beginning of summer in the Berkshires. With soft pastel colors, timeless details, and a celebration focused on spending time with loved ones, their day was everything a romantic garden party wedding should be.

Nestled in the heart of the Berkshires, the Williams Inn provided a beautiful backdrop for their outdoor ceremony and elegant reception. The couple truly did everything right when planning their wedding timeline. By choosing a first look before the ceremony, Rebecca and Edward were able to enjoy cocktail hour, spend more time with friends and family, and only step away briefly during the reception for golden hour portraits. It was the perfect balance of beautiful photos and meaningful moments.
The romantic garden party color palette featured bridesmaids in soft rosette pink gowns. Edward and his groomsmen looked classic in navy blue. Rebecca’s gown from Essense of Australia was effortlessly elegant with timeless lace details. It perfectly complemented the classical romance aesthetic of the day.
One of the most memorable guests was Hudson, the couple’s beloved dog. Not only was he part of the wedding day, but it was also his birthday. Dressed in his own tiny tuxedo, Hudson stole plenty of hearts throughout the celebration.
The outdoor ceremony featured a stunning gold arch adorned with ivory and blush florals. After exchanging vows, the newlyweds were showered with bubbles as they recessed down the aisle. Waiting at cocktail hour were three custom signature cocktails that immediately set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Inside the reception, a long head table was decorated with glowing candles, hurricane vases, and textured linens that added warmth and elegance to the space. Beautifully styled details appeared throughout the day, creating a cohesive and sophisticated design. As the sun began to set over the Berkshires, Rebecca and Edward slipped away for a few minutes of golden hour portraits before returning to the dance floor.
Their first dance to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran couldn’t have been more fitting. From that moment on, the dance floor stayed packed. Friends and family were ready to celebrate, and the energy never slowed down.
For me personally, this wedding was especially meaningful. I first met Rebecca and Edward’s family when I photographed the groom’s sister’s wedding several years ago. It was such a joy to reconnect with everyone and celebrate another chapter in their family’s story. Seeing the heart shaped sunglasses I had gifted them with their welcome box being worn on the dance floor was the perfect ending to an incredible day.
Rebecca and Edward’s Williams Inn wedding was a beautiful reminder that when couples prioritize time with their guests, the day feels effortless, joyful, and truly unforgettable.
