Arnold Arboretum Lilac Engagement Photos

There’s something undeniably magical about spring evenings at Arnold Arboretum, especially when the lilacs are in full bloom. This engagement session felt like stepping into a romantic storybook, filled with soft purple blooms, golden sunset light, and one very adorable four legged guest.

Dreamy Spring Engagement Photos

These two wanted their engagement photos to feel relaxed, genuine, and true to who they are. As always, I insisted we include their dog. Their pup happily became the star of the start of the session while her mom and dad got comfortable being in front of the camera. Talk about a great ice breaker! Some of the best engagement photos happen when couples simply enjoy being together, and their dog helped make everything feel effortless and natural.

Romantic Spring Timeless Style

Their outfit choices were absolutely perfect for the setting and season. Staci wore a whimsical white sundress paired with a classic jean jacket. This is such a soft and romantic look that moves beautifully in the breeze. He complemented her perfectly. In a navy polo and jeans, Patrick kept the overall vibe casual, timeless, and comfortable. Together, their outfits blended beautifully with the dreamy spring colors surrounding them.

Lilacs in Bloom at Arnold Arboretum

The lilacs at the Arnold Arboretum were showing off in every shade of purple imaginable. The lilac collection at Arnold Arboretum creates the most incredible backdrop for engagement photos. While the park is always gorgeous, the Spring is special. There were bursts of color and soft floral textures that made the entire session feel whimsical, romantic, and almost cinematic.

As the evening went on, the warm spring air and gentle breeze made the entire experience feel calm and easy. We wrapped up the session just as the sun began to set. Golden light filtered through the trees and lilacs making them glow. It truly was the perfect spring night — romantic, peaceful, and full of the kind of moments that make engagement sessions so special.
