If you’re dreaming of a warm, rustic celebration surrounded by New England charm, this wedding at Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield is full of inspiration. As a Salem Cross Inn wedding photographer, I love capturing weddings at this historic Massachusetts venue. With its vintage furniture, glowing wood floors, and picture perfect farm landscapes, it is one of the most beautiful Massachusetts rustic wedding venues for couples who love character and countryside views.

Danielle and Tristan celebrated their stunning fall wedding surrounded by deep purples, rich reds, oranges, and dark greens. In addition, their floral designer, Persephone Florals, created organic, wildflower inspired arrangements. Additionally, the bride’s makeup and hair were done by Brides by Lauren. Lastly, she wore a gorgeous gown from Azizi Bridal. Tristan’s classic suit was tailored at Jos. A. Bank, and their heartfelt ceremony was led by officiant Paula Roberts.
The day began in the venue’s charming bridal suite. It is a dreamy vintage dressing room with antique mirrors and warm wooden textures. The couple shared their first look on the wrap around porch beside the barn. As a West Brookfield wedding photographer, I love when couples choose a first look. It gives us plenty of time for portraits and lets them enjoy cocktail hour later. Before the ceremony, we wandered down the dirt road where the rolling hills and fall foliage created the perfect backdrop. The couple had glowing Salem Cross Inn wedding photos, even with the bright midday sun.
Their outdoor ceremony took place at the gazebo overlooking the farm, complete with grazing cows in the background. This is one of the most iconic scenes at this venue. The walkway and gazebo were decorated with fall foliage and warm toned florals that tied beautifully into the rustic landscape.
After the ceremony, we were able to take portraits in front of the cows! I would love to explore more of the historic farm. The barn reception was decorated simply with bud vases, rust colored roses, and the venue’s well known collection of antique tools and signs. Their sweetheart table featured greenery and fall foliage, perfectly matching the cozy barn atmosphere.
The couple shared their first dance, yjen toasted with family and friends, and finally enjoyed emotional parent dances. As their Massachusetts barn wedding photographer, I captured the entire day, from the quiet morning moments to the final dance. One of the most memorable details was the hilarious cutouts of their cat’s head. Guests used these on the dance floor throughout the night.
Danielle and Tristan’s celebration at Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield was a perfect. A blend of rustic elegance and heartfelt joy. Which is everything a fall New England wedding should be.
I ADORE Salem Cross Inn’s vintage vibes and amazing food. The venue is always on my Top 5. Check out another Salem Cross Inn Wedding from years past. Lastly, let’s work together to make your vintage wedding dreams come true – Message me!
