Kevin and Steven’s Hope Events on Main Wedding was a joyful celebration of love, travel, and togetherness. It was truly a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple. As a Rhode Island Wedding Photographer, I was honored to capture every heartfelt moment of their beautiful day. Not to mention that Hope Events on Main is the perfect venue for couples who want to customize every detail of their wedding day dreams.
The couple first met in 2021 and became engaged on Christmas Day in 2023 — a proposal filled with warmth and also holiday magic. When planning their big day, they wanted to celebrate not only their love but also their adventures together. As a result, the wedding theme centered around travel, and it was evident in every thoughtful detail. Additionally guests were invited to write notes on postcards instead of signing a traditional guest book. These created a collection of memories and well wishes that reflected Kevin and Steven’s shared wanderlust. Throughout the reception space, postcards from the couples’ travels were displayed. On the back included selfies and stories from each destination, offering a delightful glimpse into their journey together.
The color palette of navy and burnt orange added richness and warmth to the wedding celebration. Kevin and Steven were married in front of a stunning arbor crafted by their friend Margaret Singsen. The couple entered their wedding ceremony to a standing ovation from their friends and family. The entrance was a unique and beautiful way to celebrate their marriage. The festivities continued with a lively cocktail hour at Break Time Bowl. The vintage bowling alley perfectly matched their playful personalities and love of games.
From start to finish, every vendor contributed to creating a seamless and memorable experience. First of all, Jeap from Lovely Occasions styled the event beautifully with draping and gorgeous table scapes in the Hope Events on Main wedding space. Next, invitations by Spencer Desrosiers set the tone beautifully. The tuxedos from Main Street Formals in Acushnet, Massachusetts, ensured the grooms looked timeless and sharp. In addition, wedding bands from Baxter’s added a touch of elegance, and Extreme Photo Booth provided endless fun for guests. Lastly, the night came alive under the expert mixing of DJ Benny Goodman, who kept the dance floor packed all evening.
Above all as a Rhode Island Wedding Photographer, I love documenting celebrations that are as unique and authentic as Kevin and Steven’s at Hope Events on Main. The day was a perfect example of what makes love — and weddings — so wonderfully diverse.
