Senior Portraits Plymouth MA

Apponequet High School Grad, Olivia, chose Plymouth for her Luxe Senior Portrait session. Plymouth offers the best of both worlds, parks and the beach within steps of each other. We started our session at a little park behind the Grist Mill. Summer time in Plymouth is so gorgeous! The breeze off the ocean kept us cool on the warm day. Flowers were in full bloom every where we looked. We couldn’t have asked for a better location.

Olivia rocked out many outfits during her session, each one was cuter than the next. Everything she brought was perfect for the photographs. Solid colors, form fitting, and all complimentary to her petite frame. The rich wine color in her peplum tank was perfect for both the location and her skin tone.

Next we shuffled over to Nelson Beach. Nelson Beach is one of my favorites in Plymouth for senior pictures. Small and unfinished, this beach is often nearly empty. The difference between high and low tide makes for a completely different scene. The Plymouth jetty is just blocks away and can be seen from the beach’s shoreline.

One thing that tends to set DSP out from other senior photographers is our use of flash. I absolutely love using off camera lighting to get super dramatic images. Olivia and I had a little bit of an overcast day, but when I busted out the big lights, it brought out all the detail in the clouds at sunset. I will take a cloudy day like that any time!!
