North End Boston Engagement Photos
I am a Rhode Island girl, born and raised. I have spent almost all my adult life living in Massachusetts, I have never frequented Boston. Providence I know inside and out! When Kristen and Joe said they wanted to show me around the North End of Boston, I was all for it. Known for its amazing selection of food, I figured if I got lost, at least I’d have good food around!
Where it all started
We started our session with a quick walk to one of the first places the couple lived together. As the couple reminisced of the start of their love story, I was able to photograph them talking and laughing. Those are the moments that are most special to me. North End Boston engagement photos would not be complete without heading to an Italian restaurant. A few blocks from their old apartment was the place the future bride and groom had their first date. Again, I was grinning from ear to ear as they recapped all the details.

We stopped at the the restaurant Kristen and Joe had their first date. I was immediately hungry when I started smelling all the delicious food the North End has to offer!
Landmarks are a must when in Boston
After getting the full tour of where the romance started, we headed for some city landmarks. Boston’s Old North Church is not only rich with history, it is a beautiful piece of Boston architecture. Finally, we headed to Christopher Columbus Park which is nestled on the Boston harbor. The park is known for its archways, which are lit with twinkling lights after sunset. Unfortunately, we were there a bit too early to see them!

Why this session was special
Engagement sessions are always wonderful. Mostly they are a chance for me to go over posing and get to know the couple. This engagement session went well beyond that. As a result, I not only got to go over posing with the Bride and Groom, but I now feel like they are old friends! Weddings can be stressful, for both the couple and the vendors. When I have a chance to really get to know the bride and groom ahead of time, it makes the wedding day so much easier.
Kristen and Joe are planning a destination wedding in New Hampshire. DSP Weddings is looking forward to being a part of their special day!

I love couples who include locations that are special to them in their engagement photos. Not only did you hit a lot of amazing places around Boston, but what beautiful engagement photography!
