Nahant Country Club Wedding

I first met Annmarie and Mark on the beach in Swampscott for their engagement photos. High school sweethearts, it was clear to see their friendship was the foundation of their soon to be marriage. Their wedding day further reinforced that friends and family were the rock in their lives. The wedding day was nothing short of joyous, celebration at its finest.

Nahant Country Club, nestled away on the coast of Boston’s North Shore, boasted a large bridal ready room. It was perfect for the bridal party to get ready for the big day. Meanwhile, the guys waited patiently downstairs, watching the venue staff put the final touches on their reception tables. The day was wet and dreary. Fortunately, Nahant Country Club offered both indoor locations, as well as a covered porch, to keep the couple dry during photos.

A Special First Look

Annmarie and Mark had a very special and unique first look. They each wrote letter to each other to be exchanged prior to the ceremony. I was able to look on as their faces lit up reading each line. It was an amazing moment, filled with emotion and love. Furthermore, I am certain they will cherish those letters for life.

We were able to grab a few photos without getting too wet prior to the ceremony. Spring weddings are always fantastic with all the blooming trees and flowers. Nahant Country Club had no shortage of gorgeous nooks and crannies that were unfortunately too wet for us to use! We did luck out with the a few trees blooming in the front of the estate.

Party Time

Disney themes were incorporated throughout the reception. First, framed images of “Be Our Guest” accompanied by the candelabra and clock. Beast’s rose adorned the seating chart. Lastly, Cinderella’s coach adorned each table.
