I have known Ashley through a friend since she was in high school. Since then, I have watched her grow up from a distance on social media. When I saw that she was engaged, I was absolutely thrilled for her! Then she asked me to be their photographer and I was ecstatic! She quickly scheduled her Newport Engagement photos so I could meet her fiancé, Conor. Ashley is in the wedding industry herself, as a graphic designer. Cliff Walk
Conor planned a beautiful winter getaway for Ashley. Complete with a helicopter ride and stroll down Cliff Walk where he popped the question. It was only natural that we go back to Newport for their engagement photos. Newport engagement photos can be challenging in the Sumer with the crowds. We lucked out on a weekday and had quite a bit of privacy during the session. Aside from a parking ticket, everything was perfect!
Summertime in Newport is always beautiful. Cliff Walk is always a great spot to catch the sunset.
Brenton Point State Park
When planning your Newport engagement photos, don’t think you are limited to the beach. Brenton Point is a beautiful option that offers winding trails through the woods as well as a cool stone ranger station. Ashley and Conor stopped here during their engagement photo session. We did a quick walk around while the sun was setting. It gave them a chance to change their outfits and get a whole different look to their photo gallery. Brenton Point is located right off of Ocean Dr. in Newport, close to Cliff Walk and Castle Hill Light House.
Newport engagement photos don’t always require the beach! Brenton Point State Park is a great place to give your session a different feel.
