One year after their engagement session, I returned to Point Judith for Courteney and Jorge’s Galilee Beach Club wedding. There’s nothing better starting the day overlooking Narragansett Beach from the roof top deck at Aqua Blue. Blue skies, warm weather, it was the perfect day for a beach wedding in Rhode Island.
Galilee Beach club on Point Judith was cozy and inviting. It was perfect for a casual beach wedding. I absolutely LOVED that the girls went bare foot, and I did too!! As the sun started to set, Courteney and Jorge exchanged their personally written vows with the waves crashing behind them. It was a perfect Rhode Island beach wedding in Narragansett.
After the ceremony, we got all the family together for formal portraits on the dunes. Both families were a TON of fun and ready to party! As the last bit of sunlight faded, the bride and groom were able to spend some time alone. We walked up and down the beach for photos. The weather was warm for a September evening. The beach was almost empty and perfect for wedding photos.
The evening Galilee Beach Club wedding reception was complete with a beach bonfire. Even more special was the couple got married on the night of the super moon! The DJ kicked up the music and the party was lit! Every one was dancing. During the cake cutting, the bride and groom took time out for mini dance breaks. It was truly amazing. Lastly, we headed out to the beach for some night time photos with the super moon. The night ended with paper lanterns. It was a perfect RI beach wedding!
