Of all the wedding in 2018, Missy and Eric’s is the one I am most excited for. I had the pleasure of working with Missy for years when I was still in retail. She was one of the best teammates I have ever had. When I saw that she had started dating Eric, I was so happy for her. It was clear she had found someone special.
From afar, thanks to Facebook, I got to share in Missy and Eric’s engagement. Missy had Lola the bulldog for a few years. Then I saw a post with a new puppy. A new puppy that had “will you marry me?” on her tag. Does it get any better than that?! Diamonds and puppies… I think not. These two are what love stories are made of.
Um… yes!!! Including your WHOLE family is an important part of your engagement session. I love meeting fur babies. What do you need to know before bringing your dogs to your session? First, have a friend help. Having someone available to hold the dogs is essential. While just “tying the dog to a tree” sounds like a great idea, it doesn’t always go well. Next, get a nice new collar and leash like Missy did. Your pup should look as sharp as you do! Lastly, be patient with the dogs and me. I will make some really strange noises to get your dog’s attention. Don’t judge me!
When Missy contacted me asking if I would photograph her wedding I was beyond excited! Nothing is better than 1- knowing she liked my work, and 2- I got to be a part of her big day! She coordinated between myself, Quidnessett Country Club, and DJ Valentina to find a date with all three of us available. So on top of two amazing people getting married, the wedding is at one of my favorite venues with a kick ass DJ.
So now the wait begins! Is it October yet?!
Be sure to schedule your dogs in engagement photo session today!
