Elegant Summer Wedding at The Cape Club of Sharon
A summer wedding at The Cape Club of Sharon was the perfect setting for Brittany and James’s elegant celebration. With warm sunshine, timeless details, and a packed dance floor, their wedding day was beautiful from beginning to end.

Timeless Black, White, and Gold Wedding Details
Everything about this wedding felt classic and sophisticated. the bride got ready at The Cape Club of Sharon before slipping into a simple ball gown with a detailed bodice and removable sleeves. Meanwhile, the groom prepared at a nearby hotel in a classic black tuxedo, vest, and bow tie.
Their black-and-white invitations set the tone for the day. Ivory florals and lush greenery softened the black and gold reception décor beautifully.
Brittany and her husband chose not to have a traditional wedding party, a trend I have seen frequently this year. Instead, their closest friends and family joined them for photos throughout the day.
An Outdoor Cape Club of Sharon Ceremony
The couple skipped a first look and saw each other for the first time at their outdoor ceremony. With the golf course behind them, it was a gorgeous spring setting.
Because they had a small family and limited group photos, we completed portraits after the ceremony without feeling rushed. Later, we headed outside again for golden-hour photos and captured playful, relaxed moments together.
A Reception Filled With Greek Traditions
The Cape Club’s reception space offers plenty of natural light from its large windows, while its darker ceilings created a dramatic backdrop for the black, gold, and ivory décor.
After their first dance, father-daughter dance, and toasts, the party quickly came alive. Brittany’s Greek heritage was celebrated with traditional circle dances and a money dance that kept the dance floor full.
Their petite white wedding cake featured beautiful royal icing details, while a dessert bar offered cupcakes and cheesecake. As purple uplighting filled the room, The Cape Club of Sharon wedding reception became the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable night of dancing and celebration.
