From grabbing
Every Friday Jon leaves Bridget a note. Cue the “awwwwww”. When he was getting ready to propose, he collected all the notes he gave her and had them made into a book, with his proposal at the end. Men, take note of this awesomeness! When Bridget opened her gift on her wedding day and saw it was ANOTHER book filled with the notes over the past year, I about cried. AND they got married on a Friday… How cute is that?!
Aldrich Mansion has become one of my favorite venues for many reasons. First, it’s conveniently located in Warwick, RI. That means it’s super close and I don’t have to sit in Newport traffic for a stunning mansion with a water view! Next, the bridal suite is the things dreams are made of. Victorian furnishings, natural light, it’s everything I dream of for a getting ready spot. If you want a church ceremony, Aldrich Mansion has that too! All the things, all in one spot. YES!
Receptions at Aldrich Mansion are unique because the first part of your reception can be outside. I love announcements and the first dance on the back patio overlooking the water. It is the perfect view at sunset.
I always let my couples know that if I can get them out at sunset, I will! As soon as Bridget and Jon were done eating, we ran outside for 5 minutes to create these stunning portraits. It’s ALWAYS worth stepping away to get these canvas worthy images!
