the {City} – Boston Senior Portraits
It was Saint Patrick’s Day in Boston. It was cold. The T was crowded with college kids gearing up for the parade. It was 9am. With all these factors against us, we rocked this Senior Model Team session!
When I put the call out for a senior model to be the Carrie Bradshaw to my Carrie Diaries themed shoot, I got a ton of girls wanting the part. Colleen fit the bill perfectly. Not only does she have the blonde curls, she had a wardrobe and style sense that even Ms. Sarah Jessica Parker would admire. We started planning with a Pinterest board and pinned away! Colleen sent me pictures of all her outfit ideas while I started looking for some 80’s inspired garb myself.
The morning of the session, Colleen came prepared with a ton of outfits, shoes and the BEST accessories! I came with a jean jacket, tulle skirt and a nail polish splattered bag. We braved the cold and made it happen.
This was one of those sessions that on the train ride home, I wasn’t sure what I shot. I was too cold to feel my fingers, never mind flip through the back of the camera. Once I was warmed up in my car, I grabbed my camera. When I toggled through, I knew this was my favorite session to date. This was my first official Senior Model Team session of 2013 and it was ah-mazing! I can’t wait for warmer weather and my Class of 2014 Seniors!
