McKenzie and Tim’s Lake Pearl wedding was filled with emotion, sunshine, and so much joy. From their romantic boathouse ceremony to a packed dance floor at the Belvedere, their day felt effortless and full of life.
However, one of my favorite parts of their story started before the wedding day.
McKenzie was pregnant during their engagement session. Therefore, their beach engagement photos naturally became a beautiful maternity session, too.
I loved documenting that chapter of their lives together. Even more, it made their wedding day feel incredibly special. Their son was able to join McKenzie and Tim as they celebrated their marriage.
Seeing them together as a family was such a full-circle moment.
McKenzie got ready inside the Lake Pearl Beach House. She wore a stunning Justin Alexander wedding gown from VOWS Bridal.
At first glance, the gown had a classic A-line silhouette. However, the dramatic waist-high slit revealed a shorter skirt underneath. It was modern, fun, and perfect for showing off her strappy sandals.
Meanwhile, Tim wore a classic tan summer suit from Miltons. The lighter color was ideal for their summer wedding and complemented the entire design of the day.
McKenzie and Tim held their ceremony inside the Lake Pearl boathouse.
The florals by Judy’s Village Flowers were simple and romantic. Ivory and blush roses were paired with soft greenery. As a result, the flowers enhanced the space without overwhelming it.
Most importantly, the ceremony was filled with emotion. There were happy tears, huge smiles, and moments of overwhelming joy.
After the ceremony, guests headed to the Belvedere for the reception.
The Belvedere at Lake Pearl always looks incredible. Its tall vaulted ceilings create a bright and open atmosphere. Additionally, the cream and ivory accents throughout McKenzie and Tim’s wedding complemented the space perfectly.
Their classic white wedding cake from Montilio’s Baking Company continued the timeless look.
Later, we headed to the Lake Pearl dock for sunset portraits. Golden skies stretched across the lake, giving McKenzie and Tim the perfect backdrop for a few quiet moments together.
Once the party started, the dance floor stayed packed.
Entertainment Nation kept everyone dancing throughout the night. McKenzie and Tim were right in the middle of it all, laughing and having an amazing time with their friends and family.
Finally, Lake Pearl ended the evening with a slider station. Because really, what is better than late-night sliders after hours on the dance floor?
McKenzie and Tim’s Lake Pearl wedding was joyful, emotional, and completely focused on celebrating together. It was an incredible day to photograph and an even more beautiful chapter in their growing family’s story.
