The rain held off just long enough for Cathy and Ryan to have their waterfront wedding ceremony at Grand View in Mendon, MA.
With a summer that has seen more wet weddings than dry, venues are getting good at watching the radar and getting those ceremonies done in the little pockets of dry skies. Grand View’s amazing event team made Cathy and Ryan’s outdoor waterfront wedding happen in a pocket of dry skies! The rain started again as soon as the ceremony was over. Talk about good timing! Thankfully, Cathy and Ryan were able to get outside for their newlywed portraits after the skies cleared.
My Hunter boots are getting a LOT of use this year!
A first touch has become increasingly popular with couples that opt out of a first look. Cathy and Ryan wrote personal vows to each other. Instead of reading them in front of all their guests, they enjoyed a quiet, private moment together. Although I am a fan of first looks, the first touch is a beautiful alternative.
