5 Favorite Wedding Venues 2017

I am so lucky to travel all over RI, MA and CT for weddings. Over the past year, I have definitely had some venues that I absolutely LOVE! Here is my 5 favorite wedding venues in Southern New England for 2017!

#5. Coachmen’s Lodge

Located in Bellingham, MA, the Coachmen’s Lodge is convenient for both Rhode Islanders and Bostonians. The wedding venue has beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking a pond. With an outdoor bar and patio, it gives the option for an open air cocktail hour. Whether you are planning a small, intimate wedding, or a big 200 person bash, Coachmen’s Lodge has a number of rooms to fit your perfect party. I especially love the Four Seasons room with its wall of windows overlooking the grounds.

 

 

#4. T.J. Smith’s Victorian House

Nestled outside of Boston’s South Shore, T.J. Smith’s Victorian House provides a unique venue for rustic and vintage weddings. Providing only one event at a time, T.J Smith’s allows you and your guests to have a very personalized wedding day. You have the choice of an outdoor or indoor ceremony location. Having the indoor back up is always a plus! What is really great is the indoor ceremony location is dedicated as just that. No having to have your ceremony in your reception room! The gardens are beautiful and fit perfectly with the overall vintage feel of the venue.

 

#3. The Jones River Trading Post

Another South Shore gem, the Jones River Trading Post is located in Kingston, MA minutes from Downtown Plymouth. The old mill boasts nautical accents and a vintage feel throughout. Decorated with antiques, Jones River Trading is a great location for your modern vintage wedding.

Brides have a spacious room to get ready in, with lots of natural light and seating. An outdoor ceremony location is small and perfect for an intimate wedding. You are married in front of the waterfalls of the old mill. My favorite thing about this venue is the stunning reception hall. High ceilings, the decor, the twinkling lights, everything pulls together perfectly.

 

#2. Lakeview Pavilion

You can not go wrong with Lakeview Pavilion in Foxboro, MA. Home to the New England Patriots and Gilette Stadium, you know Foxboro is as centrally located as it comes! With a variety of hotels in the area, guest lodging is a breeze.

Let’s talk about the helpful staff at Lakeview Pavilion. In my many times working there, they are always on top of EVERYTHING. I have never seen a detail go unnoticed, or a couple go unattended. Both rooms are absolutely gorgeous, boasting beautiful chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows, and outdoor patios. If you are going with an indoor or outdoor wedding, both are stunning at this venue.

#1. Salem Cross Inn

I love everything about Salem Cross Inn. However, I will honestly say the reason why it gets my number one pick is because the food is the best around! When sticky buns occupy space in the bread bowl, you know it’s going to be a good meal!

An old farmhouse, located in West Brookfield, MA, Salem Cross Inn is a real working farm. All the food is prepared fresh daily incorporating their own veggies and herbs. Thirty minutes from Sturbridge, Salem Cross is tucked away in the quiet New England countryside. Best of all, the outdoor ceremony gazebo overlooks rolling fields. After your perfect ceremony, head inside to the rustic venue. Decorated with antiques and twinkling lights, you won’t have to do much to make the venue look spectacular.

 

There are so many beautiful wedding venues in Southern New England!

Although this was my list for my favorite wedding venues in Southern New England 2017, there are SO many more beautiful places that I didn’t mention!
