Robin and Tyler found me through Tyler’s sister, Whitney. Keep an eye out for her wedding on the blog soon! I knew instantly that we would be a great match for working together. They were super relaxed, and seemed ready to just have fun at their wedding. Robin and Tyler have a young son. The focus of their wedding was family and friends and really sealing the deal on their already perfect family!
Getting Ready
Bridal suites at Colonial Hotel are absolutely stunning. There was plenty of room for Robin’s bridal party. I ADORE when brides have all their details pulled aside for me. As soon as I arrives, I was able to quickly photograph all the little important details of the wedding day. Robin had a purple theme throughout the wedding day, from the invitations, to robes, to reception decor.
The Guys
As always, the guys were just hanging out until I insisted they get jackets on for photos. Tyler received a a beautiful pocket watch from his bride to be. Once the guys were dressed and ready, I took them out to do some quick formal portraits. I think it is SO important to get a photo with each member of your wedding part, as they are the most important people in your life!
Indoor Wedding Ceremony at Colonial Hotel
The indoor space at the Colonial Hotel is beautiful. Full of natural light, the space sits adjacent to the ballroom. I found the ceremony location easy to find and secluded from the rest of the hotel.
When a Lamborghini arrives at your wedding, you take a photo with it.
Beautiful Reception Details
Purple touches filled the reception room. I loved the way the rich fall color was complimented by gold accents throughout the room. Centerpieces were simple and beautiful, with hurricane lamps surrounded by florals.
