Breanna was the lucky one to get my first creative Class of 2019 senior model team shoot of the year! I had been brewing a Greatest Showman themed session since winter. It was beyond exciting to put it into action! I had worked with Breanna when she was a Sophomore and knew she would be perfect for the shoot.
While I don’t require hair and makeup for my senior session, it is HIGHLY recommended. I can always refer you to a great artist if you aren’t the makeup type. Amanda Melo from ModMakeup was the creative gal behind Breanna’s circus look. We worked together to make sure Breanna looked extravagant, but not clownish. Amanda nailed it!
Because this was completely styled by myself, I provided the ring master costume. Most model sessions, I will set up and inspiration board on Pinterest. My girls will pull from their closets the things that match the mood. You know we ALL have a little bit of everything stashed away! Or if all else fails, we all need a shopping trip!
Roger Williams Park carousel was the perfect backdrop for the circus themed senior portrait session. It does cost money to rent it out. We also had heavy hearts as we took over the ride. There was a line of small children very upset that they had to wait 15 minutes to ride. I did my best to schedule the shoot at noon on a weekday to avoid this! With all its nooks and crannies, Roger Williams Park continues to be one of my favorite locations for portrait sessions.
What’s the difference in sessions? Not much! Your senior portrait session is yours to customize. If you want guidance from me, I am available for that too! My goal is for you to have a great time, make amazing memories, and have magazine worthy senior pictures. You can do anything from traditional to wild, plus everything in between. I have a TON of ideas and inspiration on Pinterest if you need ideas! Better yet, just shoot me a message and we can start planning today!
