The {Mountain} Senior Portrait sessions cover New Hampshire’s White Mountain region. This little spot was a few minutes walk to a beautiful waterfall that will be lovely when it’s not frozen.
Only 2 hours from North Conway, NH, we headed to Old Orchard Beach, ME before making our way back to Boston. Even with all the stores and restaurants closed for winter, there was still something fun and whimsical about the Pier. All the shutters were brightly painted and matched the snow covered carnival rides that line the beach.
On this trip we hit both the White Mountains and Old Orchard Beach! The mountains were beautiful covered in snow. The beach was quiet… and covered with snow too. I had visited Old Orchard Beach in the fall and there were still some stragglers left on the beach. On this morning there was only us and one elderly couple looking for shells. The only sound was the waves coming to shore. The sun was bright and warm on such a cold day. It was truly an amazing experience to share with my friends.
I can not wait to shoot senior at the Pier of Old Orchard beach when it’s open. The Ferris Wheel and strip of games and carnival rides in the background will be perfect! And the beach is always better when you can go swimming!
Erika was my very first senior portrait client in February 2012. I am so happy I got to take her on this adventure to Maine and New Hampshire! We had a blast. We were cold. We were temporarily stranded on the Kanc with a dead battery. We stayed in a cheap hotel minutes from the beach. We had fun. We made new memories. It was pretty fantastic. <3
