If you are looking for a beautiful garden backdrop for your engagement photos, Blithewold Mansion in Bristol is AMAZING! What I had planned on being a quick 30-minute engagement session, turned to a full hour because Blithewold had SO MANY nooks and crannies of gorgeousness.
Alex and Sarah really wanted to incorporate their pup in their engagement session. Of course, dogs are an absolute MUST do at your engagement session! We took a few minutes first thing in the morning to go for a walk near home with Scooby. Scooby was the absolute CUTEST!! Getting to meet fur babies is one of the best parts of my job!
After our early morning session, the couple and I met again in the evening at Blithewold Mansion. Blithewold requires a permit for photography and it was WONDERFUL to have the whole place to ourselves. The garden was beautiful in the late afternoon. We walked out to the ocean, through the field, and around the mansion.
Alex and Sarah were naturals in front of the camera. As usual, the engagement session was more like going for a walk with friends than a “photoshoot”. I can not wait for their wedding day!!!
Need more convincing on inviting your dog into your engagement photos? I wrote a whole blog post about why I love dogs at engagement sessions! Check it out!
Sarah’s beautiful makeup was courtesy of the talented Jennifer Viveiros!
