Three years. Three siblings. Three amazing weddings. I am beyond grateful to have worked with this family for the past few years. From the first time I saw someone to drink out of a shoe, to warm hugs and big laughs, every moment has been memorable.
Kara and Ben wrapped up my journey with their November wedding at Five Bridge Inn in Rehoboth Massachusetts. As always, the barn was beautiful, filled with twinkling bistro lights, farm tables, and chivari chairs.
The best part of wedding ceremonies in the winter is watching the sunset through the trees while the betrothed exchange vows, rings, and a kiss. The golden glow combined with the twinkling overhead lights can’t be beat.
While November can make for some VERY chilly wedding days, Kara and Ben lucked out. Morning rain brought in warmer air and was kind enough to stop raining before photos started. 50 degrees, sun peeking out from the clouds, winter wedding perfection.
After three weddings working with me, family photos were and absolute breeze. Everyone knew how quickly I work through all the groupings. Everyone was ready and waiting for their time to shine. Wedding party and family photos in 20 minutes, yes please. A true testament to how easy it can be when everyone is on the same page, and in the same place, at the right time.
